VETERAN HEALTH CARE WORKERS COME TO VISIT MISSION CENTRAL FROM VIETNAM
It was a day we long had looked forward to, and it finally arrived on August 27th, 2011. Veteran Health care worker Rev. Ted Engelbrecht and his wife and son came to visit us here at Mission Central. What a blessing to hear their report first hand, and to have them stay overnight.
They had an excellent group of "not normal" people that came from Waterloo, Des Moines, and Ireton, Iowa and also a group of about 16 people from Orchard, Nebraska! These dear folks all appreciated having a chance to take a tour of the Wayside Prayer Chapel, the Factilities, and the Museum. It truly was a day they will long remember, and how they were able to send this family to the West Coast and Rev. Engelbrecht would be in Hanoi, Vietnam working again on Wednesday the 31st of August. This family has been in Vietnam for over 15 years working with the poorest of poor to help and encourage these people. Here you see the family and the group that "sent them off".
