SPECIAL MEETING WITH VETERAN MISSIONARIES, THE RUHNKES
On the weekend of October 15th and 16th, old Missionary Gary had the privilege of staying with the long time Volunteer Annual Mailing Specialists, Wilbert and Evelyn Ruhnke from Algona, Iowa. It was such a blessing to spend time with them and to talk about the Lord's work.
Gary had the honor of staying at their special guest room at the retirement home, and had an evening visit with the Ruhnkes and then breakfast with them as well as lunch on Sunday after speaking at Trinity Lutheran Church at Algona.
One added blessing is the fact that the Lord used the Ruhnkes to introduce old Missionary Gary to some very special new friends that live in Algona, Rick and Barb Bitterman. It was such a wonderful afternoon to visit with the Bittermans and the Ruhnkes. Here you see these special friends that God sent at "just the right time" to help with HIS work! It is because of special friends like the Ruhnkes and the Bittermans that we can keep on going at Mission Central.
I will never forget our time together, and here you see the faces of some of the Lord's great Missionaries.
