SENIOR MISSIONARY
RUTH REINKE VISITS MISSION CENTRAL
It's a long way from Neligh, Nebraska on the farm to travel to Mission Central, but that didn't stop Senior Missionary, Ruth Rienke. Ruth and her late husband, Wilbert, lived north of Neligh many, many years, and it was about 11 years ago that Gary met this special couple. Wilbert's friendly smile was truly an indication that the Lord Jesus lived in his heart, as he loved mission work, and he had great joy in telling others about Jesus. God called Wilbert to his real home several years ago. Ruth still lives on the farm, and it would be a long trip to come to visit Mission Central, but Ruth planned and planned on coming for a very long time. Finally, the day arrived and Ruth and the Vicar from her congregation there at Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh came all the way over to visit at Mission Central. They enjoyed a tour, a noon lunch and a special time together to see how God is working to "call" so many missionaries to Mission Central. Ruth won't forget her special trip to Mission Central, and she had her picture taken in the special spot with our "real boss" in the background...Yes, the years have passed, but the friendship, encouragement and love from the Rienke's are an example for all of us! We thank God for wonderful Missionaries like Ruth Rienke.
