During this month, Gary had the most wonderful experience. Yes, he was allowed to stay overnight with a wonderful rancher family in Elwood, Nebraska. The day was spent checking out machinery, cattle, Sandhills pasture, cropland, irrigation systems, and even getting to see a famous saddle horse in the distance...OLD RED. Getting to see a saddle in excellent shape that was over 100 years old was something exciting, filled with the history of the territory. Gary was truly "a stranger and they took him in and he was hungry and they fed him"....mmmmmm, where did we hear that before? Yes, pictured here are Ranchers, Ted and Janet Schutz. These special missionaries have a real heart for the Mission of the Church and have been a great encouragement to Gary and Mission Central.
