SHARON OWENS FAMILY MUST RAISE THEIR OWN FUNDING!
On July 13th, 2011, Sharon Owens and her children Peter and Joanna came to visit Mission Central. They are now one of the missionary families that are classed as "network supported missionaries" and that means that they have to raise 100% of their own funding.
Sharon spoke at 1:00 PM and then again at 7:00 PM at Mission Central telling of her work that God called her to nearly 10 years ago in Macau in Southern China. Sharon adopted Peter and Joanna from an orphanage in China, and they are blood brother and sister. What a blessing that God provided for these children a Christian Mother.
It was truly a wonderful day that God provided for this family, and guests, Prayer Partners, and Supporters came from all over the mid-west to be with Sharon and her little family. Won't you pray for and support this little family? We are working day and night at Mission Central to help this family. Sharon has to raise over $100,000.00 to provide for her home rental, children's schooling, transportation, air fare, utilitites, office expense, Concordia Plan, some salary, and all of the expenses connected with her work. It's a huge task, and we are praying that this Lincoln, Nebraska missionary will be funded for this coming year. Please pray for Sharon and that God will "raise up" people to help with her support, so she can stay in Macau telling more and more people about Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
