METHODIST GROUP FROM CENTRAL IOWA COME TO MISSION CENTRAL:
On August 8th, 2011 at 7:15PM a wonderful group of workers came to visit Mission Central. Yes, they were from the Humboldt and Gilmore City, Iowa area, and these folks came to the Mapleton Community to help with repair of the tornado damage! They were working with the pastors from St. John United Methodist Church, Pastor Len and Karen Garrison, who had arranged for their housing and meals.
This group came in the evening to see the facilities and tour the Museum, and to hear how the Lord has used the old set of farm buildings to assist in sending missionaries around the world. The group started the tour in the new Wayside Prayer Chapel, and was amazed at what had happened here in the hills of Western Iowa. This wonderful group of Christian people appreciated the stories and information about how Mission Central operates. It was truly an example of how the Lord can use all kinds of people to get HIS work done. What a JOY to welcome these dear folks who are helping others who have lost so much!
