VOLUNTEER HELPERS COME TO VISIT MISSION CENTRAL FROM ALL OVER IDW
On the 17th of December 75 men from the Iowa District West LCMS came to Mapleton, Iowa to help with tornado relief and also to help with projects at Mission Central. The noon lunch was served at Mission Central, and what a JOY to have these folks come. The Volunteer Cooking Staff of Maxine and JoAnn Thies and Joan Chandler all helped to prepare the special meal and the group ate in two different shifts.
Many of the folks that came on that special Saturday had never been to Mission Central before, and they ate in two different shifts. Here you see that entire group getting ready to eat, and they ate in the fellowship hall that was the hog house here at Mission Central. It was a great time for the men to see the Museum and the other items of interest here at Mission Central. Here you see pictured the two groups of men that ate in the fellowship hall.
