WONDERFUL GIFT FROM LONE ROCK, IOWA FOR TORNADO VICTIMS IN MAPLETON, IOWA
It was again an example of what the Lord does to "call people at just the right time". When old Missionary Gary opened the envelope from the church at Lone Rock, Iowa at Immanuel Lutheran Church, and saw the gift of $2,500.00 ear marked for "Mapleton Tornado Victims" it was another example of God's direction. On the same day, Rev. Scott Jensen came to Mission Central...from St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Mapleton, Iowa and told Gary, "there is a great need for families that have been impacted by the tornado". Therefore, Gary delivered the check directly to Pastor Jensen and asked that he make certain that those that needed it the most would receive the funds. Here you see Gary delivering the check directly to Pastor Jensen. God works in the most amazing ways!
