THE WORLD FAMOUS DR. LO COMES TO MISSION CENTRAL
It was truly one of those "special times" at Mission Central, with the arrival of Dr. Fungchatou Lo and his daughter Gaozong from Cambodia. A HUGE crowd of people came to here their report on DVD and Power-Point presentations. Over a hundred people were in the barn for the program at 1:00 PM and a group came for the evening program at 7:00 PM. Pictured in the fellowship hall in the evening was a group of people to pray for and send Dr. Lo and his daughter Gaozong. Everyone enjoyed this special time together. In the afternoon on June 29th, 2011, it was a "land-mark" day for missionaries, as we had not only Dr. Lo and his daughter Gaozong, from Cambodia but also we were blessed to have our newest missionary going to Macau, Alissa Asmus from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Also, present were Donna Meyer, who will be leaving for Papua, New Guinea and Missionary Megan Kincaid who has been 2 years in Hong Kong, and is going back for 3 years more. These five missionaries were all here together, and the huge crowd had many pastors and teachers and laypeople. Here in the barn is pictured the pastors and teachers who prayed for the 5 missionaries that you see seated in the photo. It was truly a special time and people will never forget the day that we sent 5 missionaries from Mission Central. (See Photo Lo Sending in Barn)
