TWO FAMILIES SENT AT MISSION CENTRAL ON JUNE 30TH, 2007!
It is usually customary that we send off people at Mission Central, but never before have we had the privilege of sending two families in one day.Vicar J. P. Cima and his wife Aimee and little Celeste came from their home in Richmond, Virginia to be commissioned and sent to Vietnam, where Vicar Cima and Aimee will be working on Human Care projects with the government of Vietnam. Vicar Cima will be working under the supervision of Rev. Ted Engelbrecht and they will be living in Hanoi. It truly was a special day and people came from Des Moines, Bellevue, Nebraska, Gretna, Nebraska, West Point, Nebraska, Charter Oak, Schleswig, Manning, Galva, Mapleton, Minneapolis and Richmond, Virginia.....and in the barn at Mission Central, these dear "not normal" people put their hands on these folks and sent them off. It was truly a special morning, and one that the Cimas said, "we will never forget what happened here in the middle of this cornfield".
