AMAZING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY COME TO MISSION CENTRAL
It's amazing the variety of people that God sends to visit Mission Central. On October 15th, we had the privilege of welcoming a large group of international students from Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa. These students were from Thailand, China, and India. What a blessing to welcome them to this Miracle Place in the middle of a cornfield in Western Iowa.
I was shocked to see the amount of interest that was displayed by these students and how intently they listed to how God can use an old set of farm buildings to get HIS work done! We had the privilege of seeing the Museum, and they all had a tour of the facilities, but one of the highlights was the explanation of various religions and their practices, and so many of them could relate to the display found in the "Asian Section" of the Museum. Many knew the artificats that were displayed from the Buddist Temples, and a number of them recognized the "Fortune Sticks" that are found in the Museum.
We had a wonderful opportunity to pray together in the Chapel and the students were given a chance to take a Bible home with them. It certainly was a time we will long, long remember.
