THE HANSON FAMILY FROM HONG KONG VISITS MISSION CENTRAL
On June 28th, 2006, at 7:00 PM something very special took place in the barn at Mission Central. We were blessed to have the Rev. Carl Hanson Family come and visit, and give a full story of their work in Hong Kong and all of Southeast Asia. An area of the world that is fast opening up to the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Pastor Hanson and his wife, who was from Taiwan, and their two children Emma and Andrea, were able to spend two days at Mission Central, and their presentation and stories were wonderful. Mrs. Hanson told of how the Lord had come to her at age 13, having never heard about Jesus, and how a missionary had brought that message to her.
A large gathering in the barn from the entire area, with one guest coming all the way from Rapids City, South Dakota enjoyed the presentation. All of the area pastors came and at the end of the Hanson's presentation, the pastors gathered together to "send them off" and they placed their hands on them and sent them off, as was done in Acts 13:3. Pictured here are the pastors and the entire Hanson Family. What a special night!

Many times we get so busy we forget that there are special people that really need our prayers. Pastor Hanson graduated from Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Des Moines, Iowa and his mom and dad, Dr. LeRoy and Naomi Hanson are members of this congregation. Rev. Hanson and his family live in Hong Kong, and Pastor Hanson travels all over Southeast Asia. He is on the road a great deal and really needs our prayers and support.
Won't you please consider "adopting" this family? They have been short on their support, and would so much appreciate your prayers and support. If we can't go to Southeast Asia, then we should send someone in our place. Here is pictured the Hanson Family in the usual location with our "boss" at Mission Central. Please contact Gary Thies if you would like more information on the Hanson family.
