FAMILY RETREAT A REAL TREAT!
What a privilege to have the honor of speaking at the Family Retreat Gathering at the Camp at Spirit Lake, Iowa. It was held the first week of August and what a blessing to see so many families and their children and grandchildren gather at the Camp. This has been going on for many years, and one of the people said, "Gary, we've been coming here each year now for 46 years!" What a dedicated group of Christians.
Old Missionary Gary had the privilege of speaking to them each morning for about 2.5 hours on the 3rd and 4th of August, and John Ribando, Lee Umland and Ray and Dottie Huebschman spoke on the other days of the week. It was such a blessing to share with a group like this. The latest "mission news" was shared with this group, and enclosed are photos of the some of the students that were "dressed up" with items from the jungle....and also pictured is the entire group that gathered for the presentations each day!
