MISSIONARY DENOW SPEAKS AT MISSION CENTRAL:
What a blessing to have the privilege of hearing first hand of the work of one of our Veteran Missionaries, Dennis Denow, who serves the Lord Jesus in SE Asia, and lives in Bangkok, Thailand. Dennis was our "keynote speaker" at the LWML special retreat that was held at Mission Central on September 3rd, 2011. He has served as a missionary in this region of the world since 1980!
Dennis reported on the Lord's work in Papua New Guinea, and how a special Mission Project provided a shipment of a complete 40 foot container of books for the 30 schools and 7000 Lutheran School Students in Papua New Guinea. What a blessing to hear how God can use just "ordinary people" to get HIS work done. We can see Dennis giving his report to all of the LWML members in attendance.
A great blessing of the day is the fact that from Storm Lake, Iowa God provided a surprise in that Dennis's 1st grade teacher, Viola was in attendance, and attached is a picture of Dennis and his dear 1st grade teacher.
