DAVENPORT MISSIONARIES ARRIVE AT MISSION CENTRAL!
What a blessing that the Lord provided a beautiful winter day for the arrival of the special "advance party" who came to Mission Central all the way from Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa. Rev. Kurt Larson, and his members came and truly proved themselves to be "not normal" and what else could they be for driving 5.5 hours to visit this place in the "Middle of No Where".
Yes, God "calls" very special people to be at Mission Central at just the right time. After a tour of the facilities, the Museum, the offices and the Wayside Chapel, one of the members of this group said, "I'm coming back here again"....and another member said, "Never in my life, did I think I would see anything like this!"
The Pastor and this group selected May 7th, 2011 for the day that they are bringing a bus load to Mission Central for a day tour. What a JOY to have this special group of folks come to see what God can do with an old set of farm buildings! Here we see the group at the sign at Mission Central and also at the most photographed place at Mission Central....in front of the picture of our "Boss".
