MISSIONARIES COME FROM ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH CHARTER OAK, IOWA
What a blessing to welcome adults and youth that came from St. John Lutheran Church in Charter Oak, Iowa, with their pastor, Rev. Richard Merrill. It was such a JOY to have these young people come and learn about the Lord's mission work around the world. They were given a tour of the Mission Museum and then told of the artifacts and even had an opportunity to see the little wayside prayer chapel. The students were given a "Tour of Children Around the World" by old Missionary Gary. When the students saw the amazing picture of Jesus whose eyes followed them they were so shocked, and one student said, "Boy, Missionary Gary, that's really creepy"......
It was truly a special time of sharing and the young people expressed their happiness in knowing what other youth around the world were doing and how many of them were coming to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. Here you see the group down by the sign at Mission Central, just before they left for home.
