AMAZING MISSIONARIES FROM CALVARY IN SIOUX CITY COME TO MISSION CENTRAL....
What a blessing to welcome about 55 members of youth and adults from Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City, Iowa on February 9th, 2011! This amazing group of folks were under the full direction of the world famous DCE, the Honorable Cindy Storm. Cindy organized this group and chartered the bus to come and visit Mission Central and see the Museum, and hear what God is doing around the world in the Mission of HIS church. What a great group of folks that arrived about 7:00 PM and they were treated to a tour of the Mission Central Museum and heard some miracle stories.
Then the group met in the fellowship hall that had all the seating lined up for them, and they saw the video, "A man in a hole".....and then Missionary Gary reported on new events around the world....and also told the story of little 11 year old E-May in Cambodia.
Maxine provided cookies for the entire group, and in this picture you will see DCE Cindy Storm on the right hand side and the group gathered in the fellowship hall. What a JOY to have these special Missionaries that were all "sworn in" as official missionaries the rest of their lives to tell more and more people about Jesus, our Savior. Rev. James Travis and his wife and family also were able to come along, and what a blessing to work with folks like these. We thank God for Calvary Lutheran Church in Sioux City, Iowa....real Missionaries!
