SPECIAL MISSIONARY COUPLE

FROM BEAVER CROSSING, NE. VISIT!

    It was one of those "special miracle days".....yes, I got up early on Friday the 13th of January 2012.  It was one of those rare days that I'd get to be in the office, after much traveling during the week, and a time to get my desk cleared off.  But, the Lord had other plans for me. 

    The telephone rang and the voice on the end of the phone said, "Uncle Gary, would you be around today?"  Would it have been any other day during the week, it couldn't have happened....but IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.  You see "normal" people would say..."Hey, wasn't that lucky that Gary was in his office today?"  No, we know that God even schedules people to be at the right place at just the right time.

    That voice on the phone was the Honorable Missionary Curtis Deremer from Beaver Crossing, Nebraska and his dear wife DuAnne (Fahr) Deremer!  It was dear DuAnne Fahr that we had prayed so hard for over the years in her battle with cancer, and without question, the Lord provided her healing and then provided her with a wonderful farmer husband, Curtis. 

    I was so happy to welcome Curtis and DuAnne, because they are like part of my "real family".  We had some quality time together...a brief tour of the facilities, museum and the new wayside prayer chapel,  a little lunch together, and then these young folks picked out 3 missionaries to pray for and support.  What a blessing to have them come and SURPRISE Old Uncle Gary at "just the right time". 

    The reason I can keep going day after day, is because the Lord puts special family members in my life...like Curt and DuAnne.  What a blessing to have them stop here at Mission Central.  Here you see this special couple in our office at Mission Central with our Boss in the background.
