Julia and 3 new church members (at one of the Russian churches here in Almaty, Kazakhstan)! We were at a church picnic which happened this summer in September (2003).
This was taken in November. We were in a 6 week intensive language class, and this is the way we opened--praying the way the Kazakhs pray, but praying to Jesus. These are several members of the class, including our teacher, who is a Christian.
